Attending the 36th Annual Synod of the Diocese of Lagos

Faith and Community Building

Religious institutions have long served as vital pillars of moral guidance and community development. Recently, I had the privilege of joining His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, at the opening service of the 36th Annual Synod of the Diocese of Lagos (Anglican Communion).

Such significant spiritual gatherings provide us with an essential opportunity to reflect on our collective moral compass and the foundational role that faith plays in fostering unity and resilience within our society.

A Shared Vision for Moral Leadership

Engaging with faith-based communities is integral to our administration’s inclusive approach to governance. It reinforces our shared commitment to leading with empathy, integrity, and a profound sense of duty to the people.

We remain grateful for the continuous prayers, support, and constructive counsel from religious leaders as we work together to build a more prosperous and harmonious Lagos State.
